POD Farm 2 Advanced User Guide – How To....
8•12
Obviously, you’ll rst want to make sure your Line 6 or iLok device is properly connected to the USB
port of your computer and powered on.* If not, exit POD Farm 2, connect the device and try again.
*Note: It is specically recommended to always connect a Line 6 USB device directly to your
computer’s USB port, and not into a USB hub. USB hubs can sometimes cause communication
errors with USB audio devices.
If you have more than one authorized Line 6/iLok USB device connected to your computer, then POD
Farm 2 Plug-In will automatically detect the authorization on either. When launching POD Farm 2 in
standalone operation, you’ll likely see the following dialog, where you can select the device you want
POD Farm 2 Standalone to use.
Optionally, you can go to the or POD Farm 2 > Preferences (Mac
®
) or File > Preferences (Windows
®
)
Hardware tab when in POD Farm 2 standalone mode and set it to “use this device” if you prefer POD
Farm 2 to always use the same device rather than display the above dialog.
