Preset List
HX Stomp XL stores 32 banks of four presets (A, B, C, and D) for a total of 128 presets.
1. If not already there, press VIEW to select Play view.
2. Press the Upper Knob to open the Preset list:

Turn the Upper Knob to select a preset.
Turn Knob 1 (Reorder Preset) to move the selected preset up and down the
list.
Turn Knob 2 (Snapshot) to select Snapshot 1, 2, 3, or 4 without having to be
in Snapshot footswitch mode. See “Snapshots” for more information.
TIP: The grayed-out numbers above Knob 3 represent the messages
required to recall the current preset (PC:XXX) and snapshot (CC69:XXX) from
an external MIDI controller or sequencing software.
Preset Footswitch Mode
Use the Play view’s Preset mode to navigate presets.
1. If not already there, press the MODE footswitch to select
Preset mode.
The left two switches display the currently-selected Up/Down switches’ function—
Bank, Preset, or Snapshot—accessed via the Global Settings > Footswitches >
Up/Down Switches—see page 58. The A, B, C, and D switches display the
currently-selected bank’s presets. The active preset’s label appears with a white
background, and its footswitch appears with a red LED ring:

2. Press BANK or BANK to choose the desired bank.
Thepresetlabelsash,indicatingoneisreadytobeselected.
3. Press one of the four preset switches to load the preset.
TIPS: Press and release both and simultaneously to momentarily change
to Snapshot selection.
Press and hold both and simultaneously to change between Bank, Preset,
and Snapshot modes.
