Thank you for purchasing Sonic Port™, the latest 24 bit/48 kHz audio interface for iOS devices from
Line 6. Sonic Port features a host of audio inputs and outputs, high quality digital conversion, and plug
and play ease of use that makes it perfect for making music with your mobile devices. This Quick Start
Guide is designed to get you up and running with your Sonic Port.
Compatibility
• Sonic Port is made for iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad (3rd and 4th generation), iPad
2, iPad, iPad mini, and iPod touch (4th and 5th generation).
• Sonic Port is compatible with any app that uses Core Audio for mono/stereo audio input or output
with the above Apple devices.
• Sonic Port supports one input source at a time. Use either the IN L/R stereo line input or the
Guitar
In (mono). If both are connected at once, the stereo line input will override the guitar input.
• Sonic Port supports both outputs at the same time: the 1/4 inch OUT L/R line/guitar level output and
the 1/8 inch Headphones Output
. Note that the Headphones Output is designed for use with
3-conductor headphones or earbuds.
