ChannelPlus Video Wall Plate
Connecting a Video Source
DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
THIS DEVICE COMPLIES WITH PART 15 OF THE FCC RULES. OPERATION IS
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TWO CONDITIONS: (1) THIS DEVICE MAY NOT
CAUSE HARMFUL INTERFERENCE, AND (2) THIS DEVICE MUST ACCEPT ANY
INTERFERENCE RECEIVED, INCLUDING INTERFERENCE THAT MAY CAUSE
UNDESIRED OPERATION.
FCC classifies this product under part 15 of its rules as a “television interface device”.
Systems designed using television interface devices have the following legal
requirements:
1) The modulated channel signal strength may not exceed 15.56dBmV at any
television.
2) If an antenna is used in the system, the modulated channel signal strength may
not exceed -51dBmV at the antenna input port.
Any system you design must comply with these regulations. As the installer, you are
responsible. The H110 (when used with an H511) has the necessary characteristics
to comply with the above requirements as designed without additional accessories.
The H511HHR is suitable for use with an antenna or with CATV systems.
The H511BID is suitable for use with CATV systems only.
Installation requirements:
For the Installer:
Federal Regulation 47CFR15.115(b)(1)(i).
Federal Regulation
47CFR15.115(c)(4).
Connect H511 output to splitter
or distribution panel input.
(See H511 manual)

Connect the H110 wall plate using only method:
1 Terminate cable with a CAT-5 jack and connect to the H511 using
supplied RJ45 jumper. (Also see example H628 manual)
2 Wire camera or wall plate directly to the 8 position terminal block
matching the CAT-5 wire colors to the colors on the terminal block.
Insert wires and tighten screws.

Power the H511 or H110
last - make all cable and
CAT-5 connections first.
Maximum CAT-5 run:
System powered from H511 300 feet
System powered from H110 100 feet
Insert wire into terminal block and tighten screws. Use the color bar to match
wire colors. The color bar has two rows, one for CAT-5 and one for quad wire:
- For CAT-5 wire, remove the default resistor and use all 8 wires.
- For quad wire , leave default resistor in place and match four color wire.
The H110 was designed to work with CAT-5 wiring. Although the system will function with quad
wire, CAT-5 delivers the highest quality picture. CAT-5 allows the use of an automatic line length
sensor and picture compensator. Quad wire does not take advantage of this enhancement.

The H110 video wall plate provides an easy way to add a new TV
channel to your existing television channels. The H110
connects to one of its companion channel injectors
(H511HHR or H511BID) via a single run of CAT-5 wire - no
coax is needed. Use the H110 with any video/audio source.
The H110 provides switchable 75ohm or Hi-Z termination
and loop-through capability. The “looped” video can be fed
to a local monitor or VCR.
Note: The H110 is not a standalone video interface.
Use only with an H511 channel injector.

NORM:
Select NORM when a television or
a/v receiver is not used at the wall
plate to view the connected source.
The NORM position terminates the
video source with 75 .
LOOP:
Select LOOP when a television or
a/v receiver is connected to the wall
plate to view the connected source.
The LOOP position leaves the
source unterminated - the local
monitor will provide termination.
POWER:
When the H110 is wired to the
H511HHR or H511BID, both units
can be powered from either location.
The H110 does not come with its
own power supply - to power the
system from the H110, use the power
supply provided with the H511.
The green power LED will be lit
showing active power when the
power supply is plugged into either
the H110 or the H511.
