A method used to digitally represent sampled analog
signals
PID
Packet Identifier
Each table or elementary stream in a transport stream is
identified by a 13-bit packet ID (PID).A demultiplexer
extracts elementary streams from the transport stream in
part by looking for packets identified by the same PID.

Synchronous Peripheral Interface
A synchronous serial data link standard that operates in
full duplex mode. Devices communicate in master/slave
mode where the master device initiates the data frame.
