The LLDP-MED TLVs to be advertised can be selected in the LLDP MED Port Settings page, and
the management address TLV of the device may be configured to be advertised.
To configure the LLDP port settings:
1.
Click
Configuration > Port Management > Discovery LLDP > Feature Configuration
.
The following fields are displayed (only fields that do not appear in the Edit page are
described):
InterfaceThe port to edit.
LLDP MED StatusEnabled or disabled.
Number of neighborsNumber of neighbors discovered.
Neighbor CapabilityDisplays the primary functions of the neighbor; for example:
Bridge or Router.
Local PoELocal PoE information advertised.

power priorityPort power priority
o
power valuePort power value
Neighbor PoEPoE information advertised by the neighbor.
o
power priorityPort power priority
o
power valuePort power value

Enter the following fields.
LLDP StatusSelect to enable LLDP on the device (enabled by default).
LLDP Frame HandlingIf LLDP is not enabled, select the action to be taken if a
packet that matches the selected criteria is received:
o
FilteringDelete the packet.
o
Flooding—Forward the packet to all VLAN members.
3.
Select a port and click Edit.
PortSelect the port to edit.
LLDP StatusSelect the LLDP publishing option for the port. The values are:
o
Tx OnlyPublishes but does not discover.
o
Rx OnlyDiscovers but does not publish.
o
Tx & RxPublishes and discovers.
o
Disable—Indicates that LLDP is disabled on the port.
Available Optional TLVsInformation to be published by the device.
Advertise Optional TLVsSelect the information to be published by the device by
moving the TLV from the Available Optional TLVs list. The available TLVs contain
the following information:
