Chapter 2: Getting to Know the 24-Port 10/100 + 1-Port Gigabit Switch + 1 miniGBIC mini-GBIC The mini-GBIC (gigabit interface converter) port is a connection point for a mini-GBIC module, so the Switch can be uplinked via fiber to another switch. The mini-GBIC port is compatible with two types of modules, 850 nm and 1310 nm.
