Introduction
DS4028ST Device is a container tracker with Sigfox. Powering on, the device will
spend 5 minutes scanning the Sigfox Monarch signal in order to identify the current
geographical zone. It will collect environmental data and send it out periodically with
Sigfox. The collected data is such as temperature and humidity. The device can be
known where it is through the location of the Sigfox radio station. The device uses the
pressure sensor to identify whether the device is going up/down by the crane in the
harbor, then a Craning event will be sent. The period of data uploading is configurable.
The device downloads the configuration periodically.
Below is the default configuration for the period of the data.
• Monarch scanning is performed every two days.
• Configuration is updated every two days.
• The GEOLOC event is sent every two hours.
• The TEMP_HUM event is sent event every 12 hours.
• The threshold for the pressure is 75 Pa.
