Connecting your Station to the Internet
Do the following before starting to connect
your station to the internet, as the steps
following will need to be completed within 15
minutes:
- Lucid Connected Home Charging
Station (powered off)
- Laptop computer nearby
- Station's Serial #
- Station's IP address:
For Wifi: 192.168.5.1
For Ethernet: 192.168.1.10
- User's preferred WiFi network &
Password
- User's Lucid ID (email address)
1. Power on the Lucid Connected Home
Charging Station via the breaker. Wait
120 seconds for the unit to begin
broadcasting its SSID.
Note: This SSID will only be broadcasted
for 15 minutes.
2. Using a laptop computer, seek its SSID,
matching the serial # of the unit, a 10-
digit number found on the label on the
right side of the unit. (ex. 1234567890)
3. Once the laptop is connected to the
SSID of the charging station, open a
preferred web browser, and in the URL
window, enter the station's IP address:
192.168.5.1
Note: The browser may prompt a
warning, accept, and proceed.
4. This will then load the Lucid web
configurator login screen. Enter the
same 10-digit serial # of the charging
station as the Password, the same as
the SSID.
5. It is recommended to change this
Password by selecting Maintenance in
the top right corner. Select Password,
and then enter the new Password. Click
Save. You will need to log in with the
new Password.
After signing in with the updated Password:
1. To connect the Lucid Connected Home
Charging Station to the home network
via WiFi, select Setup and then WiFi.
On this screen, enter the preferred
SSID [home network's WiFi name] and
associated Password, then click Apply.
Other options can typically be on their
default settings.
2. If connecting via Ethernet, select Setup,
then the Ethernet tab.
If Ethernet connection is established
successfully, a valid IP (192.168.1.10) will
be shown. Other options can be default
settings.
3. Select the Cloud tab under Setup, and
ensure Lucid Cloud is selected. The
Customer’s Lucid ID is displayed. Click
Apply.
Note: This must be the same Lucid ID
email address that the customer used
to create their Lucid account for the
vehicle and mobile app.
4. If you cannot correctly follow the
steps within the 15 minute window, the
process will need to be restarted for the
SSID to be broadcasted again. Cycling
the power via the breaker will achieve
this restart.
