SAFETY INFORMATION • DO NOT connect this fixture to an electrical system that does not provide a means for equipment grounding. Never use a fixture in a two-wire system that is not grounded. Installing a fixture into an electrical system not having a proper grounding means could cause metal parts of the fixture to carry electrical currents if any of the fixture wires, wire connections or splices were to become broken, cut or loose during the mounting or normal operation of the fixture.
PREPARATION Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 3. Attach mounting strap (D) to outlet box (not included) using existing washers and outlet box screws or the machine screws with nuts (BB). NOTE: If the outlet box screws required for your outlet box are of a different size than the machine screws (BB), consult a licensed electrician before proceeding. 34 Outlet Box D CAUTION: Make sure the outlet box can support 35 lbs. hanging weight. Use metal outlet box; plastic outlet boxes are not recommended.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 6. Attach screw collar loop (G) with connecting chain link (J) to threaded rod (E) on mounting strap (D). Leave connecting chain link (J) open for now. 64 Tighten second hex nut (F) on threaded rod (E) against screw collar loop (G). D E F G J 7. Slide decorative rod (B) down wiring to top of fixture (A). Attach decorative rod (B) to fixture (A) by turning decorative rod (B) clockwise until it no longer turns, Make sure wires do not get twisted.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 9. Determine the hanging length for fixture (A). If you will be using the chain (I) as is, please skip to the following paragraph. If you wish to shorten the chain (I), use pliers, a flathead screwdriver and a soft cloth (none included) to open the link of chain (I) at length chosen. Remove any extra chain (I) at this time, including the link that was opened to shorten the chain (I). Feed wiring from fixture (A) up through chain (I) to pre-determined length.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 12. Connect SMOOTH wire from fixture (A) to BLACK wire from outlet box using wire connector (AA). Connect RIBBED wire from fixture (A) to WHITE wire from outlet box using wire connector (AA). Connect BARE/GREEN wire from outlet box to BARE ground wire from fixture (A) using wire connector (AA).

Install candelabra-base 40-watt max. incadescent bulbs (not included) or CFL/LED equivalent. 15 Bulb (not included) WARNING: When replacing bulbs, allow bulbs and fixture to cool down before touching. A 16. Restore power and test fixture (A). 16 If lights do not function, please refer to TROUBLESHOOTING below. A CARE AND MAINTENANCE • Shut off main power supply. Wipe fixture with soft, damp cloth. Use window cleaner to clean glass.
WARRANTY The distributor warrants all of its lighting fixtures against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. If within this period the product is found to be defective, take a copy of the bill of sale as a proof of purchase and the product in its original carton to the place of purchase. The distributor will, at its option, repair, replace or refund the purchase price to the consumer.
