Prior to Installation
Read carefully before installing light fixtures. If you do not understand these instructions, please contact your
local Lithonia distributor before installing.
INSTALLATION
LOCATION: This fixture is for outdoor use and should not be used in areas with limited ventilation or high
ambient temperatures. Fixture should not be recessed.
MOUNTING:
1. Mount fixture using bolts appropriate for mounting surface (supplied by others).
2. Complete wiring to power source and ground (refer to wiring instructions below).
3. Use the locking screw provided to secure the U-bracket in a fixed position, being sure to line up a set of
locking holes in both brackets. Securely tighten both bolts on sides of U-bracket.
AIMING: Fixture must be oriented so that the lamp is base down.
1. Loosen the side bolt and remove locking screw.
2. Adjust fixture to desired angle, being sure to line up.
3. Continue with step 3 for mounting above.
WIRING
Caution: Determine the supply voltage the fixture will be connected to (120, 208, 240, or 277V--factory wired to
277). If another voltage is desired, remove the wire nut from the voltage lead desired and place the wire nut on
the voltage lead that will not be used. NOTE: all leads are appropriately identified with either labels or have
printing on the insulation of the leads. Use approved connectors for all electrical connections. Insulate all
unused leads. Connect fixture to supply wires rated at least 150°C
1. Connect the desired voltage lead from the fixture to the same voltage supply lead.
2. Connect the lead from the fixture labeled (COM) to the Common supply lead.
3. Connect the ground wire (green or bare copper wire) from the fixture lead to the ground supply lead.
LAMP INSTALLATION AND RE-LAMPING
1. When re-lamping, turn power off and allow the fixture to cool adequately.
2. Open the lens frame by unscrewing the four screws on the top of the fixture.
3. Install the correct lamp (provided). Prior to installing the lamp in the fixture, check to be sure the lamp is of
proper type and wattage. Lamps are not interchangeable. Screw the lamp securely into the socket, back the
lamp out one to two turns, then screws the lamp back in, making sure it is secure. This properly seats the
lamp in the socket.
4. Close the door frame and tighten screws in original position. Do not overtighten the screws. Be sure that
the gasket is firmly seated in the proper channel prior to closing fixture to maintain weather-tight seal.
5. Re-connect the power.
