What traditional light sources does the JCBL LED
high bay replace?
The JCBL LED high bay offers direct replacements
for up to 6-lamp T5HO or up to 400W HID luminaires.
What ratings are available on the JCBL LED high bay?
The JCBL LED high bay is rated for damp location. Optical
assembly is rated IP65.
Is the JCBL LED high bay suitable for environments
that contain air contaminants?
Some configurations are more suitable than others.The
standard unit with aluminum optics withstands most
environments where dust and particulates are present.It is
not recommended to use either the Acrylic or Polycarbonate
optics in an environment that has concentrations of airborne
particulates known to impact plastic components.
What makes the JCBL LED high bay so configurable?
Options for nearly any application. The JCBL LED has a 3/4”
threaded hub on top of the electrical compartment to easily
accommodate surge models, occupancy sensors and fuses.
This allows multiple mounting options including pendant
mount, hook-and-cord or a single cast hook.
Does the JCBL LED high bay ship fully assembled?
The JCBL LED high bay ships with minimum installation
required. Each shipment contains a carton for the housing
and for the reflector. Options such as wire guards and lenses
are shipped separately.
What ambient ranges does the JCBL LED high bay
perform within?
The standard JCBL LED high bay model performs at 32°F (0°C)
up to 122°F (50°C). With an added lens, the ambient range is
32°F (0°C) up to 104°F (40°C).
What are the CCTs and CRIs for the JCBL LED high bay?
JCBL LED high bay is available in 4000K and 5000K at 70 CRI.
Is the JCBL LED high bay stocked at my local
distribution center?
Yes, the JCBL LED high bay is stocked in local distribution
centers in both the 18,000 and 24,000 lumen packages in
4000K CCT. 70 CRI is standard on all JCBL luminaires.
Options
What mounting options are available with the JCBL?
The JCBL LED high bay is offered in both hook-and-cord
configuration, as well as pendant mount. For simple retrofitting,
the hook-and-cord option is recommended (ships standard
with sheet-metal hook and 6-foot cord). Optional stem kits are
available up to 36-inches in length.
Are JCBL LED high bay reflectors
and lenses interchangeable?
The lenses are interchangeable so long as the reflector
material is the same i.e. aluminum reflector with aluminum lens,
acrylic reflector with acrylic lens.
What occupancy sensors are available on the JCBL
LED high bay?
The JCBL LED high bay can be fitted with the popular LSXR
occupancy sensor from Acuity Controls.
Can the LSXR occupancy sensor be field-installed?
The JCBL LED high bay offers a field-installable bracket
to allow the installation of the LSXR in the field on most
configurations. The best option, however, is to order the
sensor factory-installed.
