INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ELA PSPRSB
ACCESSORY FOR PROGRAM RAPID START BALLAST WITH
EMERGENCY FLUORESCENT BATTERY PACKS

Instructions:
1. Remove test switch from the fluorescent
battery pack.
2. Insert ELA PSPRSB connector into the
fluorescent battery pack.
3. Insert test switch connector into ELA
PSPRSB connector.
4. Remove tape liner and secure ELA
PSPRSB in fixture cover.
5. This product provides a 2 second delay
as the product goes into emergency
mode and 4 second delay as the fixture
comes out of emergency mode.
NOTE: ELA PSPRSB is NOT compatible
with Power Sentry Self-Diagnostic Model
PSSD and PSSD SDI.
Compatible with Lithonia Power Sentry
(PSQ500, PS600, PS1400 and PSDL3) with
QD quick disconnect and DW damp wet.

Test switch
Testing:
Press and release the test switch, fluores-
cent lamps will go off, 2 seconds later the
lamps will come on in emergency mode. The
lamps will stay in emergency mode for 4
seconds. There is a 4 second delay before
lamps are restored to AC mode.
CAUTION: Do not connect ELA PSPRSB to the
Power Sentry Invertor until constant power is
applied.
