Music is not playing through my car speakers. Make sure your phone is connected to the Kit. The green and red lights on the Kit will light up when this is completed. While your car is running, turn the Kit off with the power switch on the 12V adapter. Then turn the Kit back on. Did you hear a beep sound? YES! If you heard a beep sound, it means your car stereo is correctly connected to the Kit. To confirm pairing, the green light should be lit on the Kit.
User Guide How far does the Kit work from my phone and FM stereo wirelessly? The maximum Bluetooth transmission distance from the Kit to your phone is about 10 meters. So, as long as you’re not in a limo, you should be good. The FM transmitter range from the Kit to your FM antenna is, at most, 4 meters (note: this is the distance from the Kit to your antenna, not your FM stereo). The FCC requires this limitation and, unfortunately, we can’t increase it.
