Battery charger LOAD UP 77007 with starter:
The battery charger with starter is a device capable of supplying a strong current,
which is necessary to start the vehicle. Besides the inner thermal protection with
automatic reset device, the machines are provided with an amperometric
protection with fuse reset. Make sure that the maximum current supplied by the
machine – as shown on the plate – is at least equal to or a little higher than the
maximum current of the battery installed. For instance, if the battery installed in the
vehicle is 88 Ah, its starting current is comprised between 3 and 3.5 times the
nominal capacity, that is between 260 A and 310 A.
3.0 SAFETY REGULATIONS
1. the electrical safety of a machine without double insulation is only ensured
when it is correctly connected to a well earthed system, as required by the
regulations in force on the safety of electrical systems;
2. disconnect the plug from the supply mains when the machine is not in use.
3. should the input cable be damaged, turn immediately to qualified personnel.
The replacement cable must have the same characteristics.
4. disconnect the plug of the input cable before connecting or disconnecting the
connections to the battery.
Warning: during the charging operation the battery produces explosive
fumes. Avoid open flames and sparks near the battery;
DO NOT SMOKE.
5. this battery charger comprises parts such as switches or relays which can
cause electric arcs or sparks, therefore, if used in a garage or in a similar
environment, place the battery charger in a well ventilated room suitable for
this purpose; do not
use it at all inside a car or a closed engine bonnet.
6. do not
expose to rain, snow and other atmospheric agents in general; do not
wet.
7. do not
use the machine when you are barefooted.
8. do not
touch the machine with wet, damp hands or feet.
9. do not
pull the cable or the machine itself to disconnect the plug from the
socket.
10. do not
permit children or disabled people to use the machine.
11. do not
leave the machine unattended or uselessly plugged in, since it can
become a source of hazard.
