Installation Instructions for Model 2040 Console Safe

The Lock’er Down Model 2040 fits the 2014 1500 Series Sierra and Sil-

verado.

 It is a good idea to set the combination before you install the safe,

and do it with the door open.

 Clear the contents out of the compartment.

 Pop out the plastic pocket that sets between the 12 volt power port

and the multi-media ports.

 Remove the rubber pad in the bottom of the console.

 Remove the two silver colored bolts in the bottom of the console.

 Remove the plastic file folder rails on each side of the console, this is

done buy sliding them forward will pulling out on the center of the

rail to release a detent.

 Remove the small light to the right of the latch.

 Place the safe in the console and attach to the console mounting

plate where you just removed the two bolts using the included bolts.

 Replace the file folder rails and the light.
