1. For any combination style lock, it is a good idea to set the combination before installing the
safe. We recommend that the combination be set with the DOOR OPEN in order to test the
lock combination effectively without locking yourself out.
2. Clear out the contents of the center console for now
3. Place the Top Assembly of the console safe into the console compartment with the nose
down towards the front, until it touches the bottom.
a. The QR Code at the top of the page provides a video for proper orientation into the
console.
4. Adjust the top assembly so that you can pull it towards the top, and the contour of the top
assembly matches that of the opening of the console compartment.
5. Hold the top assembly against the top lip of the console compartment, then place the 2 side
brackets so that the bottom lip sits on the bottom lip of the console compartment, and the 2
STUDS on either side of the top assembly fit through the holes in the side brackets.
6. Using an impact drill with a Phillips head attachment or a Phillips head screwdriver, secure
the two side brackets to the bottom of the console compartment using the 4 SELF TAPPING
SCREWS provided by LOCK’ER DOWN.
7. Secure the brackets to the sides of the top assembly using the 4 LOCK’ER DOWN
PROVIDED 13MM NUTS onto each of the studs on the top assembly.
8. Tighten the bolts and the acorn nuts, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, THIS COULD DAMAGE
THE CONSOLE.
9. Re-insert the padding that was removed from the safe before installation.
