Acoustic room set-up
For the sound field of the Sound Projector to be aligned directly to your listening
position, adjust the unit to your actual room. This is done using the microphone
supplied and an automatic sequence controlled by the Sound Projector. The
following steps are required:
A. Measuring the actual room
B. Optimising the sound beams.
C. Optimising the sound (delay, volume, frequency, subwoofer if required).
You can save up to three sound set-ups. This allows you, for example, to take
different listening positions, the actual room or TV positions into consideration
when using a Loewe TV with swivel castor control. These sound set-ups can then
be requested again as required (page 19, page 21).
Connecting and setting up the microphone
Using the microphone supplied, the Sound Projector evaluates the test signals it
generates and can thus adapt the sound output to your actual room.
Protect the microphone from heat and direct sunlight.
Do not use an extension lead for the microphone.
Position the microphone at your planned listening position (ear height).
Avoid obstacles between the microphone and the walls.
With a subwoofer connected where required, set the volume to medium and
set the transmission/high-pass frequency to maximum.
Press the on/off button on the unit or
the on/off button on the remote control to switch the unit off.
Connect the microphone supplied to the MIC-IN socket on the
front side of this unit.
Assemble the stand supplied:
1. Separate the individual parts from each other (1).
2. Push the two long parts together (2).
3. Put the round part on top (3).
4. Place the microphone on the assembled tripod (4).
