Start-up
Auto setup (TV sets without RJ-12/RS-232C
System interface)
➠ Ensure that the devices are set up correctly (page 11, page 12), all cables
are connected properly (page 13 - page 15) and that the microphone is con-
nected and positioned correctly (page 18).
Settings on TV set
On your TV set, (with Loewe TV sets in the “Sound components wizard“), set the
audio output to HiFi/AV amplifier.
Setting user interface language
Set the remote control for TV operation.
Call up AV selection.
On your TV set, select the AV station preset to which the
Sound Projector is connected. You can find the details in the
operating manual of your TV set.
Set the remote control for Sound Projector operation. The
Sound Projector switches on automatically.
Press and hold down the MENU button.
The menu Language Setup appears.

Confirm OK.
The display of the Sound Projector also shows the selected
language (display here always in English).
Starting auto set-up
Press and hold down the INFO button.
The menu Auto Setup appears.


AUTO SETUP
Will begin in 10sec.
➠ During auto set-up, the listening room should be free of noise interference.
Please leave the room during this time so that the sound beams can spread
without disturbance.
➠ If an error occurs during the auto set-up, a warning tone will sound and a
message will appear on the TV screen (page 32). If necessary, check the
conditions described above for the Sound Projector to work perfectly.
➠ Auto set-up takes about 3 minutes and a chime sounds when it finishes.
➠ You can save three listening positions and call them up again, e.g., to take
changing conditions in the listening room into consideration.
➠ Position the microphone at least 1.8 m away from the Sound Projector
centred on it on a level surface.
