Select sound mode
You can choose from various surround sound modes.
Select sound mode by pressing several times.
5 Beam(2) The sound beams of all the 5 channels are output.
The surround sound effects come into their own when they
play back media recorded in multichannel format.
Stereo+3 Beam(2)
The sound is emitted directly in stereo via and left and right
front channel as well as via the centre channel. The left and
right surround channels are emitted via sound beams. This
mode is suitable for playing back live recordings for example.
Singing and instrumental sounds can be appreciated best near
the middle position, where the sound reflections generated
locally can be heard on your left and right.
3 Beam The left front and surround channel, as well as the right front
and surround channel, are emitted via sound beams. The
centre channel is emitted directly. This mode is most suitable
for watching films with the whole family due to the extended
listening position range. You can also use this mode if the
listening position is near the back wall meaning that the left
and right surround beam can not be reflected.
Stereo The sound is emitted in stereo via the left and right front
channels.
