Q16 My FieldBook E1 does not display correct time and date even
after adjusting the settings. How can I fix this?
Replace the 3V lithium battery with a new one. The device uses
a battery to retain system information.
NOTE: Loss of BIOS settings occurs when the battery is
removed. BIOS settings must be reconfigured whenever the
battery is replaced.
Q17 How do I perform updates with my FieldBook E1?
Check Search automatically for FieldControl Updates
option so that the FieldControl checks the remote server for the
latest version.
If the current version installed is older, a message will prompt
for you confirmation to update to the new version, click Yes.
A browser redirects you to the update download page.
Q18 How do I transfer files to another device using Bluetooth?
You may transfer files using by ensuring Bluetooth is
on/enabled for both devices and that these devices are properly
paired if they have Bluetooth connection passwords set. After
that follow these steps:
• Locate the file you wish to transfer.
• Click on the Share icon and choose Bluetooth transfer.
