AdvancedOperationalParameters
The Technician‐Software provides an interface to enable configuring several advanced operational
parametersoftheBase‐Stations.Theseparametersshouldbeleftintheirdefaultvalue,unlessachange
isrequired.
PleaseconsultwithLogiTag’sSupportbeforechangingoneofthesevalues:
Base‐Station ID – A unique identifier of the Base‐Station in a specific project. The
default value is determined in LogiTag’s during production in accordance with
knownIDsalreadyactive.
Mode:
Inventory‐thismodedefinesthattheunitwillnotbeactiveuntilorderhasbeen
senttoperformaninventorycountfromthebasestation.
Gate– thismodedefinesthat theunitwillbeactive andeverytagthatwillbe
locatedintheRFzoneswillbedetected.
Tag TXUHF Channel (0‐3)‐Toenablebetterusage oftheUHFband , differentBase‐
Stationsmaybesettovariouschannels,thusreducingchancesofcollisions.
Zero Tags Count – An operationalparametersused in tagsanti‐collision algorithm.
Default (and recommended) value is 0 (zero), higher values will increase Base‐
Station’schancestoreceivealltag,butatlowerspeed.
LEDBrightness–SetthebrightnessofLEDontheBase‐Station’sfrontpanel.Canbe
dimmedtoreducevisibilityinsomeinstallations.
UHF TX Power‐ defines the power that the tag will transmit to the unit once
detectedintheRFzones.
TXInterval–definestheamountoftransmitionthatthetagwilltransmittotheunit
persecond.
MaxTx‐definesthenumberoftransmitionthatthetagswilltransmittotheunit.
