CUSTOM ACTION’S COMMAND LINES
Because a Custom Action can be created with
multiple command lines, each command line might
be of a different type. Different command line
types have different purpose (cyan marker ).
• Action-type contains a non-custom action
(listed on the action panel). Drag-and-
dropping an action from the Action Panel over
a Command Line will automatically change
any Command Line type to an Action.
• Shortcut-type is for recording key presses from
the keyboard.
• Delay-type is a pause between two Command
Lines (given in milliseconds).
• Run-type is the same as double-clicking a file
(it causes the operating system to run the file).
This can be used for, e.g., opening a folder, a
Word document, a URL-address, or to run an
application. Type, paste, or use the browse
function to add the path to the file (magenta
circle )
• Text-type will contain up to 1000 characters
which will be pasted when the action is used.
The following parameters can be used in
“Text”:
• Current Date: %CurrentDate%
• Current Time: %CurrentTime%
• Loupedeck Software Version: %LoupedeckVersion%
• Operating System (OS) Version: %OsVersion%

• User Domain Name: %UserDomainName%
• Computer Name (ID Name): %MachineName%
• Sound-type will play an audio track
immediately when activated. A media file is
selected using the same method as in Run-
type. Sound-type supports the following
