Setting Up Networks,

Verify that all network connections are correct, with private network adapters connected
to other private network adapters only, and public network adapters connected to the
public network. View the Network and Dial-up Connections screen to check the
connections.
Note:
Use crossover cables for the network card adapters that access the cluster nodes. If you
do not use the crossover cables properly, the system will not detect the network card
adapter that accesses the cluster nodes. If the network card adapter is not detected, then
you cannot configure the network adapters during the Cluster Service installation.
However, if you install Cluster Service on both nodes, and both nodes are powered on,
you can add the adapter as a cluster resource and configure it properly for the cluster node
network in Cluster Administrator.
