MultiService Switch (MSS)

Lucent Technologies LambdaUnite

MultiService Switch (MSS) is a next generation global

10G and 40G optical switch. It enables you to support a variety of applications in both ring

and mesh network topologies while keeping your network flexible, cost-effective, and easy

to maintain. It is designed to meet your demanding price and performance requirements in

applications ranging from small to large, in metropolitan and backbone networks.

• 2.5G/10G/40G multi-ring terminal for metro,

regional and backbone applications

• 10G/40G backbone feeder and transoceanic

applications with sub-lambda grooming service

• Hybrid ring and mesh applications

• Ethernet Transport applications
