Brake Testing and Bleeding
The following procedure may be used to check brake components for
failure or adjustment with the aid of test gauges. Test gauge kits sold by
JLG are listed in Section 19. The bleeding procedure alone does not
require use of test equipment.

Testing and Bleeding
1. Follow preparation procedures as outlined in Section 3 and in
Section 5 of this manual.
2. Before proceeding, perform the following:
a. Place transmission selector control in neutral.
b. Apply park brake.
c. Shut off engine.
d. Make sure hydraulic oil level is adequate.
e. Make sure hydraulic pump is in good operating order.
