INSTALLATION
1. Remove toilet seat from carton and protective packaging.
2. If installing Model 6486A, proceed to step 3.
If installing Model 6487RA, follow steps a-e to install arms, then proceed to step 3.
a. Remove arms from box.
b. Insert each end of arm into the raised toilet seat as shown in center picture above.
c. Push arm downward until you hear it click into place.
d. Pull arm upward slightly to secure proper installation. If loose, repeat step c.
e. Repeat steps b-d for other arm.
3. Lift lid and seat of toilet. This raised toilet seat ts most current, standard toilets.
4. Place raised toilet seat on toilet bowl rim, hooking rear anges under rear edge of bowl. Ensure paddle is back far
enough to clear inner rim of bowl. If not, turn knob counterclockwise.
5. Ensure raised toilet seat rests at on toilet bowl rim; straighten unit on bowl rim.
6. To tighten, rotate adjustment knob clockwise. Push unit back against rear of toilet rim while tightening knob. When
you feel resistance, turn an additional
1
/8 turn to snug. If top rear of unit hits the toilet seat or lid, you must remove
the seat and lid for proper installation.
Info:
The adjustment knob head must be flush with the front of the toilet seat for proper fit. On smaller bowls, if
paddle is moved to rear of its travel, the knob may pop out of its original position; the knob will automatically re-
engage when you re-tighten. DO NOT force the knob to turn. If necessary, jiggle the knob a little to start the threads.
7. The raised toilet seat should now be securely installed on the toilet bowl. To ensure that you have a proper t,
intentionally shake the raised toilet seat to ensure proper placement and t. The raised toilet seat should not
move; if it does, re-install.
WARNING:
Ensure the raised toilet seat is installed as described. If the raised toilet seat is not
properly assembled and installed, personal injury and damage to the raised toilet seat could result.
