CONFIGURING ACTIONKEY
To start using the ActionKey, you will need to congure its actions in the phone’s settings rst.
1 On a Home screen, touch the Menu key (=).
2 Touch “System settings”.
3 Under “Device”, touch “ActionKey”.
4 In the upper right corner, slide the switch to the ON position.
5 For some of the ActionKey actions, e.g. turning flashlight ON and OFF, to be available when the
screen is turned off, tick off “Enable when screen is OFF”. Otherwise, leave “Enable when screen
is OFF” unchecked.
6 Under “Normal action”, touch “Short-press action” to dene the desired action for the ActionKey
to be activated when you press the key briefly, and touch “Long-press action” to dene the action
to be activated when you press and hold the key.
7 Under “Incoming calls”, touch “Short-press action” and “Long-press action” to dene the short-
press and long-press actions for the key that you can use when you receive an incoming call, e.g.
answer the call or silence the call.
8 Under “While in call”, touch “Short-press action” and “Long-press action” to dene the short-
press and long-press actions for the key that you can use during a phone conversation, e.g. turn
the speaker on and off, mute the microphone, hold the call, etc.
ENABLING AND DISABLING ACTIONKEY
You can choose to enable and disable the ActionKey whenever you like.
1 On a Home screen, touch the Menu key (=).
2 Touch “System settings”.
3 Under “Device”, nd “ActionKey” and slide its switch to the “ON” position to enable it or to the
“OFF” position to disable it.
