Wi-Fi is a wireless networking technology that gives you access to the Internet. To use Wi-Fi, you connect to a wireless access point, a so-
called “hotspot”. Some hotspots are open and anyone can connect to them. Others may have security features to ensure that only authorized
users can connect to them. You may need to ask the network’s administrator for details.
Using Wi-Fi instead of mobile data to browse the Internet, check e-mail, or use other data services allows you to save on mobile data and,
when you are traveling outside of your operator’s area, on roaming costs. Some Wi-Fi hotspots are free, and some cost money. However,
using Wi-Fi instead of data roaming is usually less expensive.
