1 On a Home screen, touch the Menu key.
2 Touch “System settings”.
3 Under “Wireless & networks”, slide the Bluetooth switch to the ON position:
When Bluetooth is ON, a Bluetooth icon appears in the Status bar:
Before you can connect to a Bluetooth device, you need to pair your phone with it.
1 On a Home screen, touch the Menu key.
2 Touch “System settings”.
3 Under “Wireless & networks”, touch “Bluetooth”.
4 Slide the Bluetooth switch to its ON position.
The phone scans and displays the IDs of Bluetooth devices in range.
If your phone stops scanning before your Bluetooth device is ready, touch “Search for devices” at
the bottom of the screen.
NB: Make sure the Bluetooth device is set to be visible (or discoverable). You may need to refer to
the user guide for your Bluetooth device.
5 Touch the ID of the Bluetooth device in the list to pair with it.
6 Follow the onscreen instructions to complete pairing.
If the pairing is successful, your phone will connect to the device and the device will be displayed as
connected in the list.
You may need to enter a passcode for the Bluetooth device – please see the product
documentation that came with the Bluetooth device for details.
