Whenever you view a Home screen you will see the following elements:
• The at the top of the screen, displaying time, notication icons and status icons
• The below the Status bar - from here you can search your phone and the web
• Apps and/or widgets that you’ve placed on the Home screen
• The with the at the bottom of the screen
You can personalize your Home screen by changing the wallpaper, adding more app shortcuts and widgets, rearranging the items on the
Home screen, changing the apps displayed in the Dock, etc.
STATUS BAR AND NOTIFICATIONS PANEL
At the very top of your screen, there is the Status bar displaying time, notication icons and status icons.
• on the right give you information on the status of your phone, e.g. signal strength, silent mode, battery status, etc.
• on the left report the arrival of new messages, calendar events, missed calls, availability of system or applications
updates and ongoing settings, e.g. call forwarding. Depending on your sound settings, you may hear a sound whenever you receive a
new notication. To see the details of your notications and quickly access them, open the Notications panel by dragging the Status bar
down.

When you open the Status bar, you will see the Notications panel with shortcuts to various settings (icons along the top) and your
notications right below them.
