CALLING
PLACING A PHONE CALL
You can place calls both from the Phone app , the People app , or other apps or widgets that display contact information. Usually,
wherever you see a phone number, you can touch it to dial it, e.g. in a text message or an e-mail.
1 Open the Phone app .
2 Touch the dial pad icon at the bottom of the screen.
3 Touch the keys on the dial pad to enter the number. If you enter a wrong digit, touch the
“Backspace” tab to erase digits one by one.
4 Touch below the dial pad to dial.
5 To end the call, touch .
NB: To dial , touch & hold the “0” key to enter the plus (+) symbol. Then enter the international prex for the country
followed by the full phone number.
1 Open the Phone app .
2 Touch the “Type a name or phone number” eld at the top of the screen, and an onscreen
keyboard will appear.
3 Start typing either the name or phone number of your contact. As you type, matching contacts
