ABOUT THE MESSAGING APP
You use the Messaging App to send and read both text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages. You may need to check with your
service provider whether your service plan includes MMS.
As a default, whenever a new message arrives, you will receive a notication in the Status bar displaying this icon: .
All the messages to and from the same contact person are displayed in a single message thread or a conversation. This way you will only
have one message thread (or conversation) per contact person.
READ AND SEND SMS AND MMS MESSAGES
As a default, whenever a new message arrives, you will receive a notication in the Status bar displaying the Messaging icon .
To open a new message:
1 When you receive a Messaging notication in the Status bar, open the Status bar by dragging
it down with your nger.
2 Touch the message in the Notications panel to open it.
