Another way to open a new message:
1 Touch the Messaging icon on a Home or All Apps screen.
2 Touch the message in the list to open it.
NB: Unread messages are .
1 Open the message you want to reply to.
2 Touch the “Type message” eld, and an onscreen keyboard will appear.
3 Touch the letters on the onscreen keyboard to type your message.
4 When you are nished, touch the “Send” icon to send your message.
1 Open the Messaging app .
2 If Messaging does not open in the main view, touch in the top left corner until you return to
the main view.
3 Touch the “New message” icon in the bottom left corner.
4 In the “To” eld, start typing the name or the phone number of the person you want to text.
If the person is added to your contacts on your phone, a list of matching contacts will appear as
you type – touch the contact in the list to select it.
5 Use the onscreen keyboard to type your message.
6 When you are nished, touch the “Send” icon .
