Limited Warranty
SUNSET light fixtures are manufactured to the highest quality standards to provide you with years of
dependable service. SUNSET’s limited warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser
or gift recipient. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This light fixture comes
with a (5) year warranty. This warranty does not apply to any glass or fluorescent lamp supplied with the
product. Any damage from mechanical, physical, electrical, or water abuse resulting in malfunction voids
this warranty. Deterioration to plated finishes over time is considered normal “wear and tear” and
thus
exempted under this warranty. Please keep a copy of this warranty for your records.
Remedies
During the first five years from the date of the original purchase, SUNSET will replace or repair any light
fixture which has faulty performance due to defects in material and workmanship or fails to operate
satisfactorily, when failure results from normal use. In this case, return the light fixture with proof of
purchase and warranty card to Sunset Lighting and Fans. Ship light fixture prepaid to SUNSET and it
shall be repaired or replaced at our discretion. We will pay the return shipping cost. These remedies are
void if failure of the light fixture has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized
repair, modification or disassembly.
Limitation of liability
Neither SUNSET nor
our manufacturer will assume any liability resulting from improper installation or use
of this product. In no case shall the company be liable for any consequential damages for breach of this
or any other warranty expressed or implied whatsoever. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to
you.
