Figure 7. Set DD Gate Example
To determine optimal gate settings:
1. Create a New Advanced batch with DD gate settings at 0 - 32767
(make sure all other settings are appropriate for your sample).
2. On plate layout choose a single well with the Acquire command
to obtain a single sample.
3. Click and drag the left red line to a position on the left side of the
major peak to eliminate small particles.
4. Click and drag the right red line to a position on the right side of
the major peak to eliminate aggregate beads.
Note: The gate that is in effect
when collecting data determines
which values are used in the
result. Applying a gate or
changing a gate for existing data
does not change your calculated
values. The gate positions used
while collecting data are the
numerical values selected in the
template or the New Advanced
Batch.
