ADJUSTING THE RETICLE:
Your night vision unit is equipped with a sighting
mark called RETICLE, (MILDOT type) which can be
seen in the field of view. Each dot equals 2 mils.
Please note that the reticle can be illuminated by
rotating the Reticle Illumination Control (6). The
battery required for illuminating the reticle is
CR2032. It is included with the unit. To change
the battery unscrew the top cap of the Reticle
Illumination Control (6), remove the battery and
replace it with the new one the same way.
The reticle is also equipped with windage (horizontal) and elevation
(vertical) adjustments (5). Horizontal adjustment scale is located on the
side of the scope and the vertical adjustment scale is on the top of the
scope. To adjust the scale wheels, remove the covers by turning them
counterclockwise and rotate the scales click-by-click to the desired
position, looking into the eyepiece.
ZEROING THE SCOPE:
Attach Daylight Module to the Base and attach the scope onto the rifle.
Set the weapon on a solid base, or bipod. Remove the horizontal and
vertical adjustments covers (5). View the position of the reticle through
the rubber eyecup. If the reticle is not in the center of the image, move it
to the center by adjusting (rotating) the scales of horizontal and/or vertical
adjustments (7). Once the reticle is in the center of view, align the
weapon with the target, so that the target is in the middle of the cross
section of the reticle. Make the control shot. Observe the bullet impact on
the target and, if necessary, make additional corrections via horizontal and
vertical adjustment wheels. If necessary, repeat the shots until you can
see the correlation between adjusting the scales and the bullet impact.
Once finished, replace the scale covers and close the protective lens cover.
