Latitude Nerf Bar for RAM

For proper installation and best possible fit, please read all instructions BEFORE you begin.

For technical assistance or to obtain missing parts, please call Customer Relations at 1-800-241-7219.

• To be used with Lund® branded products only.

• Do not stand on Lund running board or bracket while vehicle is in motion.

• Do not use the brackets as a jacking point for the vehicle.

• Do not use the bracket system or running boards to fasten cargo.

• Periodically check all components for tightness.

• Be sure to wear safety glasses while installing brackets.

•When using power tools, read and understand all operating instructions.

Tools Required

Preparation Before Installation

• Park your vehicle in a clean, level location. Check to make sure the vehicle is in park, or for manual drive models, place the

transmission in first gear. Engage the parking brake. Chock wheels.

• Unpack the kit and identify the parts according to the content descriptions.

• An assistant is recommended to help position the running board properly during the installation.

Installation Steps NOTE: Actual application may vary slightly from illustrations. Identify the (3) mounting locations for each bracket by looking under the driver side of the vehicle and finding the holes in the rocker panel. Note which holes correspond with the holes in the running board brackets. Mark the holes in the rocker panel with a grease pencil. 1 Front passenger side shown Beginning at the passenger side rear, remove and discard tape covering upper mounting holes in rocker panel.

Installation Steps NOTE: Actual application may vary slightly from illustrations. Attach support bracket using M8 Bolt, (2) M8 Flat Washers, and M8 Lock Nut. Attach support bracket to pinch weld using (2) M6 Bolts, (4) M6 Washers, and (2) M6 Lock Nuts. 7 6 Align the passenger side nerf bar with the passenger side front mounting bracket and loosely attach using Bolt Assembly. Repeat Steps 3 thru 7 for passenger side bracket locations.

Inspection After Installation • Inspect all bolts and nuts for proper tightness. Care and Cleaning • Wash only with mild soap & dry with a clean cloth. • Do not use cleaning solvents of any kind. Étapes de l’installation REMARQUE : L’installation réelle peut différer légèrement des illustrations. Identifier les (3) emplacements de montage pour chaque support en regardant sous le côté conducteur du véhicule et en repérant les trous dans le bas de caisse. Noter quels trous correspondent aux trous des supports de marchepieds. Marquer les trous du bas de caisse à l’aide d’un crayon gras.

Étapes de l’installation REMARQUE : L’installation réelle peut différer légèrement des illustrations. Fixer le support à l’aide d’un boulon M8, de (2) rondelles plate M8 et d’une rondelle de blocage M8. Fixer le support au joint de soudure à l’aide de (2) boulons M6, de (4) rondelles M6 et de (2) écrous de blocage M6. 7 6 Aligner la barre de protection du côté passager avec le support de montage avant du côté passager, et attacher sans serrer à l’aide de l’ensemble de boulons.

Inspection après l’installation • Vérifier que tous les boulons et écrous sont serrés. Entretien et nettoyage • Utiliser un savon doux et sécher avec un linge propre. • Ne jamais utiliser de solvant, quel qu’il soit. Félicitations! Pasos para la instalación NOTA: La aplicación real puede ser mínimamente diferente de las ilustraciones. Identifique las (3) ubicaciones de montaje para cada soporte; para ello, busque debajo del lado del conductor del vehículo y ubique los orificios en el panel inferior de la carrocería. Vea qué orificios corresponden a los orificios de los soportes del estribo. Marque los orificios en el panel inferior de la carrocería con un lápiz de cera.

Pasos para la instalación NOTA: La aplicación real puede ser mínimamente diferente de las ilustraciones. Fije el soporte de apoyo usando un perno M8, (2) arandelas planas M8 y tuerca de presión M8. Fije el soporte de apoyo para pellizcar la soldadura con (2) pernos M6, (4) arandelas M6 y (2) tuercas de presión M6. 7 6 Alinee el estribo tubular del lado del pasajero con el soporte de montaje frontal del lado del pasajero y coloque sin ajustar utilizando el conjunto de pernos.

Inspección después de la instalación. • Inspeccione que todos los pernos y las tuercas estén bien ajustados. Cuidado y limpieza • Lave solo con jabón suave y seque con un paño limpio. • No use ningún tipo de solvente de limpieza. ¡Felicitaciones!
