Danger – Risk of electric shock! ►► To disconnect the appliance completely from the mains power, the mains plug must be removed from the power socket. The appliance must be positioned so that you have unrestricted access to the mains socket at all times and can pull out the plug immediately in an emergency.
WARNING – Risk of injury! ►► The appliance must always be disconnected from the mains when left unsupervised and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning. ►► This appliance may not be used by children. ►► The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children.
CAUTION – Material damage! ►► Before connecting the appliance, compare the connection data of the appliance (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with that of your electrical supply. This data must correspond in order to prevent damage to the appliance. ►► Ensure that the appliance, the mains cable and the plug do not come into contact with heat sources such as hotplates or naked flames. ►► Never place the appliance near sources of heat. ►► Always operate the appliance on a stable and level surface.

NOTE ►► Check the package for signs of visible damage.
Disposal of the packaging The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable. Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Filling the appliance ♦♦ Remove the container (if necessary) from the appliance base . To do so, turn the container initially anticlockwise so that the marking at symbol on the appliance the bottom of the container points to the base . Now, remove the container by pulling it upwards. ♦♦ Remove the lid from the container . To do this, turn the lid initially symbol on the lid points to the marking anticlockwise so that the on the top of the container handle . Now you can remove the lid .
♦♦ Place the food onto the steamer grill . Ensure that you do not fill the steamer insert to above the upper edge. NOTE ► Do not overfill the steamer insert by packing the food too tightly or covering all the holes in the steamer grill . ♦♦ Remove the lid from the container cooked, e.g. with a fork. and check how well the food is ♦♦ If the food is sufficiently cooked, you can move on to the next stage of preparation (see section Decanting food). ♦♦ If the food is not yet ready, replace the lid and restart the steaming process. NOTE ►► If the foods stick to the inside of the container , switch the appliance off for a short while. Scrape of the food with a spoon or spatula and add a little water. ♦♦ Once the desired consistency has been achieved or after the maximum of 1 minute, allow the function selector to turn back to the 0 position. ♦♦ Remove the lid from the container . ♦♦ Remove the mixed food from the container with a spoon or spatula. ♦♦ Check the temperature of the food for usability and start feeding.
♦♦ Clean the mixer unit after you have removed it as described in section Removal/fitting the mixer unit with washing-up liquid and then rinse it in clear running water. ♦♦ Ensure that there is no detergent residue on or in the appliance before using it again. ♦♦ The container , lid dishwasher safe. , steamer insert and steamer grill are Removal/fitting the mixer unit In order to clean the mixer unit , you must remove it from the container as described above.
Descaling the appliance After using the appliance for a while, limescale may deposit in the container (depending on the hardness of the water used). Limescale deposits can significantly reduce the performance of the appliance. They must be removed regularly. CAUTION – Material damage! ►► Do not use commercial descaling agents, acetic acid or vinegar essence. ♦♦ Simply pour 60 ml of white table vinegar and around 150 ml of boiling water into the container and allow it to take effect for approx. 30 minutes.

WARNUNG - Verletzungsgefahr! ►► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. ►► Achtung! Heiße Oberfläche. Das Heizelement des Gerätes und der Boden des Behälters werden im Betrieb sehr heiß und verfügen nach der Anwendung noch über Restwärme. ►► Berühren Sie niemals das Heizelement oder den Boden des Behälters kurz nach dem Betrieb. Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr! ►► Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen und verstauen. ►► Greifen Sie nicht in den Behälter.
ACHTUNG - Sachschaden! ►► Öffnen Sie niemals das Gehäuse. In diesem Fall ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und die Gewährleistung erlischt. ►► Der Behälter ist nicht geeignet zur Verwendung in Mikrowellengeräten. ►► Tragen Sie das zusammengesetzte Gerät nicht am Behältergriff, sondern nur an der Gerätebasis. ►► Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals zum Zerkleinern von harten oder gefrorenen Nahrungsmitteln.

Entsorgung der Verpackung Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden.
Kabelaufwicklung An der Unterseite des Gerätes befindet sich eine Kabelaufwicklung . Mit der Kabelaufwicklung können Sie die Länge des Netzkabels an Ihre örtlichen Gegebenheiten anpassen. ACHTUNG - Sachschaden! ►► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel immer durch die dafür vorgesehene Aussparung am hinteren Teil der Gerätebasis geführt werden muss, um einen sicheren Stand zu gewährleisten.
♦♦ Setzen Sie den Dampfgareinsatz so in den Behälter ein, dass die beiden Ausgießer übereinander liegen. ♦♦ Legen Sie das Dampfgargitter mit den rundlichen Griffen nach oben zeigend in den Dampfgareinsatz (siehe Abbildung). ♦♦ Drehen Sie das Dampfgargitter im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag, so dass es fest sitzt. ♦♦ Spülen Sie die zu garenden Nahrungsmittel wie Obst, Gemüse, Fleisch, Fisch oder Geflügel unter fließendem Wasser gut ab. ♦♦ Bereiten Sie das Gemüse vor, indem Sie es ggf.
Bedienung und Betrieb Dampfgaren starten / stoppen ♦♦ Drehen Sie den Funktionswähler auf die –Position. Die Funktionsanzeige leuchtet rot. Das Gerät heizt jetzt das Wasser im Behälter auf und bringt es zum Kochen. Der entstehende Dampf steigt in den Dampfgareinsatz und gart die Nahrungsmittel auf dem Dampfgargitter . ♦♦ Orientieren Sie sich bezüglich der Gardauer an den Richtwerten, die wir im Kapitel Empfohlene Garzeiten zusammengetragen haben.
Nahrungsmittel umfüllen Vor Beginn des nächsten Verarbeitungsschritts müssen die Nahrungsmittel umgefüllt werden. WARNUNG - Verletzungsgefahr! ►► Heißer Dampf tritt aus dem Behälter aus. Heißes Wasser befindet sich im Inneren des Behälters . Berührung mit Dampf und Wasser vermeiden! Handschuhe tragen. ♦♦ Nehmen Sie den Dampfgareinsatz rungsmitteln aus dem Behälter . und das Dampfgargitter ♦♦ Gießen Sie das restliche Wasser aus dem Behälter ♦♦ Füllen Sie die Nahrungsmittel in den Behälter mit Nah- . .
♦♦ Nehmen Sie die gemixten Nahrungsmittel mit einem Löffel oder Spatel aus dem Behälter . ♦♦ Prüfen Sie die Temperatur der Nahrungsmittel auf Verwendbarkeit und beginnen Sie ggf. mit dem Füttern.
♦♦ Achten Sie darauf, dass sich keine Spülmittelreste am und im Gerät befinden, bevor Sie es wieder in Betrieb nehmen. ♦♦ Behälter , Deckel , Dampfgareinsatz sind spülmaschinengeeignet. und Dampfgargitter Aus- / Einbau Mixmessereinheit Um die Mixmessereinheit reinigen zu können, müssen Sie sie zuvor wie folgt beschrieben aus dem Behälter ausbauen.
Gerät entkalken Nach längerem Gebrauch kann sich Kalk im Behälter absetzen (je nach Härtegrad des verwendeten Wassers). Kalkablagerungen können die Leistung des Gerätes erheblich reduzieren und müssen daher in regelmäßigen Abständen entfernt werden. ACHTUNG - Sachschaden! ►► Verwenden Sie weder handelsübliche Entkalkungsmittel, noch Essigsäure oder Essigessenz. ♦♦ Geben Sie ca. 60 ml hellen Tafelessig und ca. 150 ml kochendes Wasser in den Behälter und lassen dies für 30 Minuten einwirken.
