Main interface: Single Selection & Fixture Menu Once there are lights connected, you will be able to select them in “Single” mode by tapping the name of the light. Select each light for the group, and tap “Save Group” You will see all connected lights when you create a group. You will be prompted to name the group to create it.
Once the group is created, you will see it in the menu on the left. Tapping the arrow on the right will open the status menu (similar to the Fixture Menu) This will show you which lights associated with the group are connected.
This mode selects every fixture that is connected to the app. ** PLEASE NOTE ** When controlling all lights, or a group of lights, the control options will be limited depending on the type of lights being used. Example: If you group a Timpani, a Cello and an original Viola, you will be limited to the features of the original Viola (No filters and limited effects modes).
The “Mix” mode allows you to control the intensity lev el of all connected lights or groups simultaneously. 1. In this example, we are showing “single” mode, and you can see each light listed with their own intensity slider. 2 2. On top is the Master intensity slider. This controls the ov erall intensity of ev erything connected to the app. 3.
This is available in ALL lighting modes 1. Once you have specific setting you’d like to save, tap the star button. 2. You will be prompted to name your setting.

Each saved preset contains the following information: 1. Intensity 2. Mode Settings 3. Custom name 4. Date Created 5.
The information on the preset will change based on the mode.

Download Upload You can Upload your custom preset library to the cloud by tapping the Upload button You will receive a four-character code that can be used to download those presets to any device with the Composer App installed. Tap the Download button to enter in the code.
After tapping “Modes” you will be taken to the last mode that was used with the selected light or group. (A light / Group must be selected to access the modes) To access other modes, click the icons on the bottom of the screen.

CCT mode allows you to control and customize the color temperature of white light being used by the selected light using three types of controls. 1. Slider with color representation 2. Number entry 3. Preset Icons 4.

Listed above are the effects that are built in to Luxli Lights. These will have the same options and settings available on the lights themselves, and will sync to each other if used in a group. Once you have used an effect with a light, those settings will then be saved on the light itself so you can use that effect again without having to connect to the app again. There are some effects available for the original Viola, but it requires that the light stays connected to the app to work.
The Composer features a new “App Effects” mode. These new effects will only be accessible while connected to the app and cannot be saved on the lights like the original effects mode.

The Crossfade Cells have fewer options but have stricter requirements. 1. Placement: a. A crossfade needs to be placed either before or after a Normal Cell. b. If you place the crossfade cell at the beginning or end of a sequence, the light will dim appropriately. 2.
Saved Mode selection: When choosing a favorite, you will see all the available saved settings. Tap to select the one you want, and then tap “Done” at the bottom.
In sequence mode, there are two types of durations: When Manual Duration is selected, you will tap have to manually tap to get to the next step. Timer allows you to set how long until the next cell in Milliseconds, Seconds or Minutes using the dial below.
Choose which light or groups of lights you want to use this command. You can either use the current light selected, choose individual lights, or choose a custom group.
To remove a Cell, simply swipe the card up, and it will fly off the sequence. To delete the ALL Cells, tap the Trash Can icon to delete all cells. You will be prompted to confirm before all cells are deleted.
To move a cells position in the sequence, tap and hold the desired cell, and drag left or right.
Camera mode replaces the “Color Picker” mode on the previous app. To capture a color from a photo, tap the screen, and it that color will be recreated on the active light or group. You can save the color using the save icon on the top right. ** NOTE ** On the Android version of this app, the camera view may appear “squished”. This is due to different phone manufacturers hardware. This will does not have any effect on the ability to pick a color in camera mode.
