Repeat Playback 2
DVD/CD/SACD/VCD
Repeat Playback of a Designated Section
(A-B Repeat)
Start playback and designate the point at which the A-B
repeat should start (point A) by pressing the REPEAT A-B but-
ton.
“A TO B REPEAT SET A” appears on the screen and the “
indicator lights up in the front panel display.
When the point at which repeat playback should end (point B)
is reached, press the REPEAT A-B button again.
“A TO B REPEAT ON” appears on the screen and the “
indicator lights up in the front panel display.
The designated section will be played repeatedly.
< When playing a CD/SACD/VCD, the point A and B should be
selected from the same track.
< When playing a DVD, the point A and B should be selected
from the same title.
< When playing a DVD, the SEARCH button can be used to fast-
forward to point B after designating point A.
< There should be more than one second between A and B.
< If one of the following buttons is pressed, A-B repeat mode will
be cancelled:
STOP (CD, SACD, VCD), STOP in the stop mode (DVD), MENU
(DVD), A-B, SKIP, OPEN/CLOSE, POWER

Up to 32 tracks can be programmed in the desired order.
Press the PROGRAM button in the stop mode.
Press the numeric buttons to select a track.
Example:
To select Track No.3, press 0 and 3.
Press the ENTER button.
The track is programmed.
Repeat steps and to program more tracks.
< When the total time of the programmed tracks exceeds 99 min-
utes 59 seconds, “99:59” will be displayed instead of the actual
time.
When the selection of track numbers has been finished, press
the PLAY button (
y) to start programmed playback.
< If you press the REPEAT 1/ALL button and select “REPEAT
ALL”, the programmed tracks will be played repeatedly.
< During programmed playback, the numeric buttons don't work.
< Program does not work, when PBC ON for VCD.
