Selecting the Language for OSD
(On Screen Display)
You can select the language for OSD (On Screen Display).
This setting determines in what language the SETUP menu
and operating messages are displayed. It has nothing to do
with languages on DVD movies. The default language is
ENGLISH.
PARENTAL RATING
Playing some DVD discs can be limited depending on the
age of the users. The parental rating system allows playback
limitation level to be set by the parent. The default setting is
“UNLOCK”.
Notes
< The lower the level is set, the stricter the limitation is
offered.
< To change the parental control level, a correct password is
needed to key in.
1. Select “PARENTAL RATING” on the SYSTEM tab and press
the ENTER button. You will be asked for a password.
2. Use the numeric buttons to enter “2580” (or your privacy
password if already established).
3. Press the ENTER button as many times as necessary to
select the desired parental rating.
< If the parental rating of the loaded DVD disc is higher than
the level you set, the system will require a password. Enter
your password to start playback.
