Most DHCP Servers provide two methods for assigning IP Addresses:

Static IP Address: Allows the administrator to bind the static IP Address to specifi c
Client using the Client Device MAC Address.

Dynamic IP Address: DHCP Server assigns any open DHCP Pool address to a connect-
ing Client Device. This can cause the IP Address of Devices in the Network to change
from time to time.
