14.1 LLDP Confi g
LLDP is confi gured on the LLDP Confi g and LLDP Port Confi g pages.
14.1.1 LLDP Confi g
On this page you can confi gure the LLDP parameters of the Device globally.
Choose the menu LLDP>>LLDP Confi g>>LLDP Confi g to load the following page:

The following entries are displayed on this screen:

LLDP:
Enable/Disable the LLDP function globally.
Parameter Confi g
Transmit Interval:
Enter the Interval for the local Device to transmit LLDPDUs to its neighbors.
The default value is 30.
Hold Multiplier:
Enter a Multiplier on the Transmit Interval. This will determine the TTL
(Time To Live) Value used in the LLDPDU. TTL = Hold Multiplier * Transmit
Interval. The default value is 4.
Transmit Delay:
Enter a value from 1-8192 seconds to specify the time for the local device
to transmit LLDPDUs to its neighbors after changes occur to prevent
LLDPDUs from being sent frequently. The default value is 2.
Reinit Delay:
The amount of delay from when LLDP Status becomes “Disable” until
re-initialization will be attempted. The default value is 3.
