7 Navigational page layout
On the main display unit navigational page layout can be completely modified and
customized to match user preferences. There are two possibilities for page customization.
LX Styler program, a free program for Windows operating system, which can be
downloaded from our webpage www.lxnav.com. (See LX Styler manual for more
details)
LAYOUT option on main display unit, where you can modify selected navigational
page.
We highly recommend using LX Styler program instead of LAYOUT option.
LX Styler can be used in comfort of your house during long winter period, when
you have limited access to your glider.
Use LAYOUT option to make quick changes to layout, just before going to fly.
In this chapter only customization on device will be explained. For more info about LX Styler
please refer to its manual.
Navigational page consists of many symbols and navboxes, each of them if fully
customizable. Press LAYOUT button on navigational screen and device will enter page
customization mode.
Selected symbol will be drawn with light blue background. In top-left corner information
about this symbol is give. In the middle of symbol there is cross with arrows drawn, which
indicates, symbol is now in move mode. This is also indicated by position label in information
text box in top-left corner.
Use PAGE selector knob to move symbol left and right and ZOOM selector knob to move
symbol up and down.
Rotate MODE selector knob to select different symbol.
There are several actions available via speed buttons:
NEW will create new symbol
DELETE will delete selected symbol. A confirmation message will be displayed prior
to erasing of symbol
EDIT action will launch edit dialog for selected symbol. All details for selected
symbol are setup there.
RESIZE/MOVE button will toggle between move mode and resize mode. When in
move mode inside symbol will be drawn a cross with arrows and position is print in
information text-box. When in resize mode, two arrows are drawn on the edge of
