Gas Line Purging
You should purge the gas line of air before aempng to light the
oven.
Make sure all oven controls are in the “OFF” posion.
Disconnect the line from the manifold. Slowly turn on the
main gas supply.
As soon as you smell gas, shut o the supply
Reconnect the line, and test for leakage.
Turn the supply back on slowly.
Wait at least 5 minutes before aempng to light the burner.
Liquid Propane Connecons
Make sure the liquid propane cylinder valve is completely
closed. It is possible for the valve to be opened without
releasing gas, but as soon as you start connecng the regulator,
gas can ow from the connecon.
Insert the regulator inlet into the cylinder valve and turn the
black coupler clockwise unl the coupler is hand ght. Do not
over-ghten this connecon.
To disconnect the coupler, rst make sure the main cylinder
valve is turned o. Grasp the coupler and turn counter-
clockwise. The inlet will then disengage.
