2.6 - Pre-Flight Check
Nowthatyouhaveyourcopterreadytoflyyouneedtodoaproperpreflightcheck.Thismeansstartingupthemotorsatthelowest
powerlevelandperformingsomebasicchecks.Itmaybebesttodothesechecksonyourfloorwiththepropellersoff.(Setupin
WinGUIneedtobedonepriortoproceedwiththosechecks)
2.6.1 - Pre-Flight Steps
1. Allmotorsmuststartandstopatthesametimeasyoumovethethrottletopoweruporpowerdown.Ifanymotorsstart
lateorstopearly,thenyoumustincrementtheMINTHROTTLEvalueintheQuadrinoFirmwareTool(CopterPage)and
reflashyourfirmware.
2. Atthelowestpoweroutput,movingtherollorpitchstickthemotorsshouldrespondbutnevershouldanyofthem
spindownorsputter.Ifso,seeMINTHROTTLEabove.
3. Withthepropellersonbutstillataverylowpoweroutput,performmorerollandpitchstickmovementsandconfirmthe
copterattemptstoturnaccordingly.Thisisbestdoneonsomegrassforvisualconfirmation.Ifthecopterdoesn'trespond
asyouexpect,youprobablyhavemotorsconnectedinthewrongorder.Bytheway,ifyouarecomingfromanotherboard
suchastheKK,thenumberingandletteringofthemotorsmaynotcorrespond.
