2.5 - WinGUI
WinGUIsettingsandtestsneedtobeperformedinordertogetthebestoutofyourQuadrinoNanoflightcontroller.
2.5.1 - Serial Connection
AserialconnectionbetweentheQuadrinoNanoandWinGUIneedtobeinitiated.Theywillshareinformationandallowforsetting
upalltheneededoptions.BeforestartingWinGUI,makesuretheQuadrinoisconnectedwithit’sUSBcableunlesstheCOMport
willnotbeavailableinthedropdownmenu.
WinGUISerialConnection
1. SelecttheCOMportinthedropdownmenu.ThisshouldbethesameCOMnumberthattheFCTusedforyourQuadrino
earlier.
2. IfyouhavesetupadifferentbaudratespeedintheFCT,youcansetthesamehereunlessthedefaultis115200.
3. Clickonthe“Connect”button.ThisshouldstarttheconnectionandtheRedandGreenLEDrightnexttotheUSBcable
(onaQuadrinoNano)shouldstartblinkingrapidly.
2.5.2 - Sensors Calibration
TwosensorsneedtobecalibratedbeforebeingabletouseyourQuadrinoNano.TheAccelerometer(ACC)andcompass(MAG).
Bothhaveabuttononthe“FlightDeck”pagetostartthecalibration.
1. ACC:MakesureyourCopterissittingonaflatandlevelsurface(important)priortoclicking“CalibrateACC”

2. MAG:OncetheMAGcalibrationisstarted,youhave1minutetoturnyourcopterineachrotationaxisfull360deg.
