Thru 3x8 TM 3 IN/8 OUT MIDI THRU BOX The Thru 3x8 MIDI Thru Box has three independent inputs and 8 independent outputs. Two of the inputs (In A and In B) are on the front panel and one of the inputs (In C) is on the back panel. All 8 of the outputs are on the back panel. Each of the Thru 3x8’s 8 outputs can be individually connected to any one of the three inputs using the 8, three position dip switches on the front panel.
Thru 3x8 Hook-Up Diagram The Thru 3x8 uses a 9 volt, center pin positive wall adaptor for power (300 milliamp minimum). To power the unit up make sure that a suitable adaptor is plugged into the power jack on the back of the unit and also plugged into the wall. Next, depress the power switch on the front left panel. If everything is done correctly, the power LED over the power switch will light.
