Description
Universaldimmer for DIN-rail. Protected against overload and short circuit. Built-in heat protection. Controlled by pushbutton.
1 x Rotary switch to select the connected load:
- LED 1: Dimmable 230V~ LED lamps (leading edge dimming)
- LED 2: Dimmable 230V~ LED lamps (trailing edge dimming).
Dimmable 12V~ LED lamps (trailing edge dimming) with electronic transformer, type C
- RLC: For R, L and C loads. Automatic detection of the load type. Load examples:
Incandescence, 230V Halogens & LV Halogens with Electronic transformer and Halogens
with Ferromagnetic transformer.
- CFL: Dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamps.
1 x Rotary switch to select the minimum light level
Installation
CAUTION! You must select with the “Load rotary switch” the correct type of connected load in order to avoid damages
of the dimmer or the lamps!
1 Disconnect installation from power supply and check that power supply is disconnected.
2 Select with the Load rotary switch the type of lamp / load you will connect.
3 Install the dimmer according to the wiring diagram.
4 Make sure the loads are connected properly and reconnect power supply.

Press shortly the pushbutton to switch the lamps on and dim with a long press to the minimum light level.
If the lamps are not switched on correct (e.g. light flickering) you have to disconnect the installation from power supply.
Select with the “light level rotary switch” the appropriate and correct minimum light level.
Operation
With a long press you can dim!
Press shortly the pushbutton to switch the lamps on and off!
Memory function
To enable or disable the memory function press with an electrically insulated, prick object into the memory hole.
Is the memory function activated the LED is permanently illuminated.
=> Activated memory function: Lamp(s) switches on with the brightness / light level of the last switch off.
=> Deactivated memory function: Lamp(s) switches on with max. brightness / light level.
Master-slave-function
By master-slave-function (please see master-slave
installation) several dimmers can be controlled by one
pushbutton (higher loads). The pushbutton have to
connected to the master-device.
Being installed as slave the LED will flash. The
pushbutton input (terminal 6) and the memory function
of the slave are deactivated.
To get the dimmer out of slave mode it
is necessary to
disconnect and reconnect the (slave)dimmer.
